Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is very similar to counselling in most respects, however where counselling can be administered within a short space of time, psychotherapy tends to go a lot deeper into a clients psyche and can last longer than a specific focused approach.

Psychotherapy can help a client to become aware of their habitual patterns of relating to themselves and others, which could result in unsatisfying or destructive relationships.

As well as helping you to understand your history; the impact this has had, and is still having on you. You will discover that as your awareness grows, you can get to know yourself in a much deeper way.

By becoming acquainted with all of your deepest thoughts and emotions, and by reaching inside to what is unclear and vague; this can allow something new to form. The knowledge and understanding of these new possibilities can enable you to integrate all parts of yourself, and connect with who you truly are now.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative relationship where we work together to help you become aware of your responses and reactions to what is happening in your relationship with yourself and with others. The therapeutic relationship provides a safe container to know and understand yourself in a way you may never have imagined.

"The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind."

William James
